Created for students and teachers, this program brings together
a group of students (grades 7- college/ university) from across
the GTA for a one-day workshop. This program provides insight
into the various elements involved in the creation of Baroque
opera, while focusing on a masterpiece such as Mozart's
Idomeneo . Through connection with members of the creative
team, a confidence in the arts and insight into its various
facets is instilled along with connections made to the Ontario
Arts curriculum. The program is followed up with attendance
at Opera Atelier’s dress rehearsal of Idomeneo’s
Armide on April 24, 2008. Click
