School of Atelier Ballet

Instruction in ballet, modern dance and historical dance is affordable and enjoyable for both aspiring professional and the recreational dancer with Opera Atelier’s School of Atelier Ballet. Our scholarship program makes excellent training accessible to all students. Offering instruction by professional dancers, expertise offered in a caring, creative atmosphere, with convenient class schedules. Please note that fees are non-transferable between semesters.   • Atelier Ballet Summer Program: The School of Atelier ballet also offers summer full-day programs in which students study various forms of dance along with music and stagecraft. Click here to download the summer brochure.

  • Dance Through Time: In spectacular period costumes, dancers from the School of Atelier Ballet present a fascinating program of free public dance recitals tracing the history of dance from the Renaissance right through to the Romantic era (15th to 19th centuries), and Marshall Pynkoski (Opera Atelier’s Co-Artistic Director) provides an educational and entertaining commentary that puts each dance in a historical socio-economic context.
