The Making of an Opera (MoaO) introduces students to the magical world of opera through a series of hands-on workshops at the historic Elgin Theatre.
We can also bring MoaO to your school through our brand new Making of an Opera in school program.
Whether at the Elgin Theatre, or in your school, students will get together with Opera Atelier’s creative team and take part in interactive workshops that explore all elements of operatic performance.
Following the workshops students attend the dress rehearsal at the Elgin Theatre and witness how all of these different components of the opera come together in a live performance. In addition to learning what happens behind the scenes, Opera Atelier develops informative study guides for students to teach them about the art and its history.
Please contact Bronwen Bradley at 416.703.3767 x224 or bronwen.bradley@operaatelier.com to reserve your spot.
