Today is a day for fireworks! Today is a day for celebration! After three years, we are at last able to rehearse Handel's The Resurrection with all of our singers and dancers free of COVID constraints!

Our production of Handel's The Resurrection was OA's first casualty of the COVID lockdowns of 2020. Now, in 2023, the production has become our symbol of rebirth, a celebration of the arrival of Spring and new beginnings for our friends and subscribers.

Incredibly, OA has been able to maintain the superb cast who were initially contracted in 2020, and the excitement is palpable as the entire ensemble gathers today for rehearsal.

This is an historic moment for all of us, and a testament to the tenacity and commitment of our artists and OA's new administrative team. Jeannette and I invite you to come and celebrate with all of us as we welcome the arrival of Spring with Handel's first masterpiece - The Resurrection.
