Some favorite opera credits include: Adele in Die Fledermaus, Lady with a Hand Mirror in Postcard from Morocco, and Josephine in HMS Pinafore. Karine had the privilege of travelling to Italy to perform Musetta in La Bohème, Despina in Così fan tutte and Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro.

Praised for her stage presence, Montreal born Soprano Karine White is passionate about the performing arts. An active and versatile artist, she enjoys both performing and teaching voice, dance and drama.  Karine is proud to have been awarded the Peter and Helen Hunt Award in Opera and The National Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship for her research contributions to the performing arts. When not on stage or in rehearsal, she can be found teaching Movement Classes at the University of Toronto, collaborating with the Canadian Opera Company as a Teaching Artist and pursuing a Masters of Teaching at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE, University of Toronto) .  Karine is a distinguished graduate of Western University with a Masters of Music in Performance and Literature and holds a Diploma in Operatic Performance from the University of Toronto. Karine is also a vocal instructor and academic advisor for the Bachelor of Arts Music program at Tyndale University.
