Education and Outreach
Opera Atelier works with over 1000 young people annually through our various workshops and guest instructing opportunities. Our goal is for participants in our programs to leave with a greater understanding of our particular art form, a deeper investment in the arts generally and our company specifically, and the feeling of empowerment that comes from learning in, through, and about the arts.
By offering the majority of these programs free of charge, Opera Atelier aims to be as inclusive as possible, providing students from all backgrounds a real participatory opportunity that might not otherwise be possible. Please email us at education@operaatelier.com for more information.

I just want to say a huge thank you on behalf of the kids at ICDC… It was such an amazing opportunity and privilege to watch the show. We were all so fascinated to see these two great art forms merged into one story….I couldn’t get enough of how inspired the kids were to watch it and it definitely made an effect on their dancing the next week. In their free time, I could hear them from the other room trying to be opera singers.
The Boys & Girls Club, Inspiring Community Dance Connections
Thanks to Opera Atelier’s Community Outreach Tickets Program, 39 community members, including staff and volunteers, had the opportunity to attend the spectacular production of Acis and Galatea. This program not only made the experience accessible through discounted tickets but also played a vital role in fostering strong connections within our community. Initiatives like these bring people together, creating shared experiences that strengthen bonds and enhance our sense of belonging.
We deeply appreciate Opera Atelier’s commitment to building a vibrant and inclusive community through their support.
