Welcome to our 35th Anniversary Season! Our original intent was to showcase some of Opera Atelier's most iconic works to celebrate our 35 years as a company, but to quote Robert Burns: “the best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.” And yet, with new challenges come new opportunities.
We are therefore thrilled to present two new productions for our re-imagined 2020-21 Season of Vision & Dreams. It is vital to us that we provide our dedicated friends and supporters with two beautiful productions, just as we continue to prioritize the safety of our audiences and our artists in these changing times.
Opera Atelier’s new 2020-21 season will feature two fully-staged livestreamed productions at Toronto’s Koerner Hall, TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning. The season begins with Something Rich and Strange – a fully-staged and costumed production which will be livestreamed from Koerner Hall, TELUS Centre on October 28, 2020.
For our season’s second offering, we are thrilled to bring you Handel’s The Resurrection as our spring 2021 production. Though we had to cancel this new production last spring, we are delighted to finally be able to share it with you. The Resurrection will be livestreamed from Koerner Hall, TELUS Centre on April 1, 2021.
We remain committed to providing you with the finest quality of music, theatre and dancing, while ensuring our artists have meaningful employment and the opportunity to grow and develop.
Please help us present this exciting season of new work as we strive to return beauty and joy to the world. No matter how large or small, every donation counts. Please consider donating today.
From all of us at Opera Atelier, we thank you for all of the support you continue to provide.

Planned giving is an important and meaningful way for you to
contribute to Opera Atelier’s ongoing success. A planned gift also gives you the satisfaction of knowing that future generations of artists and audiences will benefit from your dedication. A planned gift allows you to make a significant statement of support, often unlocking greater income while securing significant tax benefits. By choosing to make us a part of your legacy, you can help secure our artistic independence and enable future generations to experience the transformative magic of Opera Atelier while you contribute to the rich cultural fabric of our community long into the future.
HOW TO DONATE
Leaving a legacy gift is simple, and there are many ways to
do so. Options include remembering us directly in your will, retirement funds, stocks and securities, gifts-in-kind, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, gifts of residual interest and life insurance.
If you are interested helping to secure the future of Opera
Atelier through planned giving, we would be honoured to discuss it with you and develop a plan that best suits your needs.
